ZEMBOX is a unique functional cover for 2 sizes of crates for storing potatoes, onions or garlic. ZEMBOX consists of 2 parts. A bottom part that is inserted into the crate and a top cover that is put on over the crate. Together with Zembag Fillings for potatoes, onions or garlic, it prolongs the
storage of these products up to 5 months by maintaining a protective atmosphere around them. ZEMBOX material consists of two layers. The inner layer contains a combined foil that maintains sufficient moisture and a protective atmosphere inside. The outer layer is made of a dark non-
woven fabric that is breathable and does not transmit light. Once properly fitted on the crate, ZEMBOX is stackable.
Instructions:
Place the bottom part of the ZEMBOX in the crate and then add the potatoes/onion/garlic you want to store. Remove the required number of sachets from the outer packaging labelled Zembag Filling for Potatoes/Onion/Garlic, place them amongst the potatoes/onion/garlic and close the crate by putting on the ZEMBOX top cover. One sachet of filling will protect 5.5 lb of potatoes or 4.4 lb of onions or 1.6 lb of garlic. Under standard conditions, the filling will last for a minimum of 5 months. Potatoes, onions or garlic can be removed or added continuously. Check the products in the Zembag
regularly at least once a week to make sure they are not deteriorating. If you see signs of sprouting, add new Fillings. Both parts of the ZEMBOX can be washed gently at a low temperature (30 °C), ideally by hand.
Warning:
• Do not combine potatoes/onion/garlic in one ZEMBOX.
• Crates or Fillings for potatoes, onions, or garlic are not included when purchasing ZEMBOX. They can be ordered separately in our e-shop.
